The location was relaxing and close enough to walk to the town. The cleanliness and peacefulness of the surroundings were enjoyable. The presence of wildlife added to the experience. Recycling options were appreciated.

We had a great stay at Aunty Arenal Lodge. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions in Fortuna. The pool was fantastic and our kids absolutely loved it. The rooms were spacious and having a washing machine was a bonus. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing experience at Aunty Arenal Lodge. The staff were excellent, and Aunty herself went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The cool pipa drinks that immediately appeared were a refreshing touch. The pools were wonderful and clean, and the location, nestled under the volcano, was quiet and peaceful. Our room was pristine upon arrival, and overall, we had a homely feeling throughout our stay. The best part was the exceptional service. When we had a problem with our rental car, Aunty sent a staff member to accompany us to the workshop, showing us the way and helping with communication. Such dedication and assistance made our stay extra special. I must also mention the nice view from our balcony overlooking the volcano Arenal.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, they went out of their way to accommodate us even though we arrived really late. the location was nice, with beautiful gardens and a quiet atmosphere. - the rooms were clean and well-maintained.

The room we stayed in was not up to par, with outdated bed linen and uncomfortable furniture. We encountered some cockroaches in the house, which was quite unpleasant.

Aunty Arenal Lodge had everything we needed for our family of 5, including a small kitchenette and 2 bedrooms. the separate laundry room with a washing machine was a great convenience. the A/C in the bedrooms kept us cool, and we loved the heated pool in the evenings. the service was excellent, with a friendly and helpful team. the location was ideal, within walking distance of a supermarket and the center of town. the room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Cons: No issues 😊.

The pool and garden-like grounds were nice, attracting loads of hummingbirds with beautiful flowers. The family villa had a washing machine, which was a great bonus. Auntys is highly recommended - Aunty is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Clean rooms, great breakfast , and excellent location. Steven, another staff member, was friendly and helpful from check-in to checkout. Laundry was even done by the time we returned from dinner. The location is peaceful and quiet, with convenient recycling options. Each room has a terrace and a hammock, and the pool is nice. Extra blankets provided were useful.

The staff at this place were really friendly and helpful. They were quick to assist with any questions or concerns that we had. Additionally, the pools were really clean and well-maintained, providing a nice place to relax and cool off. Also, the location was great as it was close to various attractions and amenities, making it convenient for exploring the area.

There were a few negatives during our stay. One of the main issues was the lack of room service.

I gotta say, we definitely got our money's worth at this cozy little lodge. The room was a bit dated, but for the price, it was totally fine. And the location was perfect - close to all the attractions in Fortuna. The staff, especially Aunty, treated us like family. Such warm and friendly hospitality.
